In 2019, we began updating the student experience at Flagler College by installing bike-fix-it stations and transforming under-used spaces on campus into vibrant social hubs. By engaging with the student body, conducting research, and aligning our initaitives with the strategic plan of the college, we created spaces and experinces that will propell Flagler into their next 50 years.
Understanding that St. Augustine has a traffic problem, we installed bike-fix-it stations across campus to encourage students to bike not only to help alleviate traffic but promote a sustainable mode of transportation.
In the heart of campus sits Lewis Memorial. By replacing the dated benches with transformable tables/benches, we created a bustling hub that invites students to work on a project, promote an on-campus club, or just meet up with friends.
